Paper details (35%) Final Paper: Write a four-page essay on the Abrahamic and Mosaic Covenants. The goal of this paper is primarily for the student to understand and articulate the content and promises of the Abrahamic and Mosaic Covenants and, secondarily, to see how they relate to one another. Specifically, this paper should describe (1) the content, nature, and parameters of the Abrahamic Covenant (2) the content, nature, and parameters of the Mosaic Covenant, and (3) the interrelationship of these two covenants (i.e., how the Mosaic Covenant builds on the Abrahamic). Eschatology: Abrahamic Covenant A Biblical-Theological Approach I. INTRODUCTION The Abrahamic covenant was the first of the three very significant kingdom covenants of the Old Testament and therefore becomes a most important biblical foundation for dispensationalism. The purpose of this covenant was to narrow the line of the Messiah to the descendants of Abraham. In addition this covenant provided the foundation for both the Davidic Covenant (2 Sam 7) as well as setting froth some of the features of the New Covenant (Jer 31). In fact one can say that both the Davidic and New covenants are rooted in and spring out of and expand the details of the Abrahamic covenant.
