Begin by explaining what marx understands capital to mean by spelling out his understanding of the general formula for capital as well as one specific type of capital:industrial/manufacturing capital. then discuss what he has to say about the social relations of production in a capitalist society by explaining role of capitalist class and the wage labor class in the process of capital accumulation. finally spell out the changes in the forces of production in capitalist society in the transition from the division of labor in manufacture (what Smith described in the Pin factory) to the division of labor in the factory (machine production)
