This essay needs to be two-folded; (1) describing the media flows of news, information, ideas, and cultural materials to, from, and within Cuba, and (2) what theories of global media development best comports with the characteristics of Cuba’s media development. — I mainly need to cite Terry Flew’s Understanding Global Media, 2nd Ed.
