Approved by the instructor that focuses on some aspect of mental illness. Specifically, examining within the context of a DSM-IV-TR diagnosis. Students are required to utilize diagnostic criteria provided by the American Psychological Association- as a way in which to analyze mental illness. The paper is worth 100 points- the page length is from 3-4 pages, double spaced, times new roman- APA format with citations. Please refer to the attached grading rubric for this assignment. Movie and Psychological Reflection Paper Instructions: • See instructor announcement regarding this report. • Pick a movie from the list provided by the instructor. • Your topic is the psychological disorder represented in the movie. • Find two academic journals from ASA library database. Introduction (title) • Introduce the main topic (Psychological disorder). What is your topic about? Why is this topic important? Describe your topic. Use the DSM. • Identify the movie that you watched. Why did you choose that movie? • Introduce movie main characters and briefly (1-2 sentences) write about the main points of the movie? • What is the purpose of this assignment? What will you be written about? • What is the primary importance of this assignment?

• Identify what this paper is primarily meant to demonstrate. • Hypothesis and experience (use the information you obtained in your academic journal to inform the readers about the psychological disorder, citation should be here) Method Participant. You. Geographical information. Describe who watched the movie. Age? Ethnicity? Race? Educational background? Economic status? Major? Materials. What was used? Describe the movie!! Ex. The instructional materials used in this report consisted of information obtained through movie and academic journals… Procedures. Describe HOW the test was done and how the data was collected?
