Risk Assessment Strategy In this assignment, you will create a detailed outline of how you will conduct a comprehensive risk assessment of your selected event based on the theories analyzed in Unit 4. First, you will select an approach to risk assessment and explain your rationale for choosing that approach. You will then outline the steps you plan to take along with how you will get your data and any tools you will use for analysis. You will also identify stakeholders who might participate in a risk assessment. In the reading for this course, two approaches to risk assessment are suggested: • The NFPA 1600 Risk Assessment outlined in Section 5.2 Risk Assessment on page 1600-8 and amplified on in Section A.5.2 on page 1600-16. You may use one of these approaches or another that you have encountered in your studies. Submission Requirements • Written communication: Your writing should clearly identify where each grading criteria or part of the assignment is addressed. Your points are required to be logical, substantive, and relevant based on the evidence presented. The writing must be free of errors that detract from the overall message. • APA Guidelines: Resources and citations are formatted according to current APA style and formatting. When appropriate, use APA-formatted headings. • Resources: A minimum of 3 scholarly resources in addition to the course readings. • Length of paper: 5–7 typed, double-spaced pages, not including the title page and references. • Font and font size: Times New Roman, 12 points.
