For this activity, you will write a two-page paper over: 1. Peer and parental involvement and how you think it impacts the development of a hearing impaired child. 2. What you believe you could do as an educator to facilitate and support development of family and peer relationships. Try to take into account issues related to possible cultural differences and socio-economic levels. How might cultural differences impact acceptance of hearing loss. How do you think socio-economic level might impact a child who is hard of hearing?
