Initial Post Think about the procedure that you learned to conduct end of shift handoffs. What is the basis for this procedure? Determine if the procedure is based on scientific evidence, indicating the procedure is effective. If it is not based on scientific evidence, on what is it based and why do you think scientific evidence was not used? In your own practice setting identify two factors that you think facilitate and two factors that you think inhibit research utilization and evidence based practice.
